[ It appears that the Grinch opened his heart for love, for living by faith and against his former sinful self. Way to go Grinch! ]
Life is unfair, a familiar yet common statement we've all reiterated in some of the span of our lives. However, this statement is not only realistic but it's tough love meant to wake us up here on earth from our bubble of comfort that we all crave.
Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all. ~Ecclesiastes 9:11
[ wherever we may find ourselves, especially in unexpected areas, circumstances God will follow. ]
Soloman was telling us this very idea that there is no favoriatism, no fairness, no one any more special than anyone else. Living here on earth has given us a twisted idea of how life is supposed to be. He's attempting tough love with us so that we can bring down our expectations of life, keeping our perspectives of living in this fallen world realistic.
[ Yes, step strong and lively in the Lord Christ!! ]
Understanding these facts are reason enough to keep up our dedicated living, our work, walking in our circumstances for our Lord God. We are here for Him NOT man. This is where not only guarding our hearts from worldly influences, and our own human inadequacies in our thinking; but learning to live Heart Smart comes into play! :)
The lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
~Psalms 18:2
[ God can do this!!! ]
Being Heart Smart is living with our hearts full of faith and wisdom that comes from our LORD. It means separating our thinking { I know it's a struggle because we're human. } from desiring acceptance from others, needing to compete to live what we see, what we're told. We know that NOTHING is worth anything without God!! Amen?!
A wise man's heart is at his righthand, but a fool's heart at his left. Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faith him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool.
~Ecc 10:2-3
As the new decade sets off, let's move into it with a renewed paradigm, renewed dedication to live better by living less like this world and more like the Lord expects us to. Will we falter, of corse; we're a fallen race, BUT, we're also saved by the grace of our God through our brother Jesus! If we could only be so gracious, so patient and loving...imagine how this world would be.
[ The Roadrunner was always rushing, but for what purpose? :() Are you a roadrunner? I know I've long been one! ]
I'm not rushing or living in a state of what now { well not always like I was! :() } to meet self imposed deadlines, trying to complete a never-ending to do list { but there's just something about checking off those boxes! LOL }, and fretting whenever I've failed to meet goals, milestones, health struggles or any other ideas I have on how I think I should be living. It gets me nowhere but stuck in my own mind regretting what I've viewed as unwanted or unfinished living...
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ~Romans 8:28
[ Daisy's inner calm doesn't stem from self comforting, it comes form her time in God. ]
There's a subtle calm in living Heart Smart, a renewed but different kind of energy and strength; one that comes from the soul, not form muscles and bones. My life has already started off with multitudes of problems and roadblocks, but won't life always?? As I move through each day, each stage of difficulty, I have with the Lord by my side and I know that no matter how things turn out, it will be ok... It will for all of us who move with the Lord.
[ Believe! Faithfully! Vi has come a long way in her faith and it's reflecting in her life, her comfort with 'discomfort'. ]
The LORD works out everything for his own ends - even the wicked for a day of disaster. ~Proverbs 16:4
