Two sides of the same coin? Yep! Paul spoke about our competing nature; our Flesh self and our Spirit self✨
Being in the world it get's harder and more confusing wrestling with our two half’s. But recognizing this fact, this struggle, is part of allowing our weaknesses to break down that false self in order to strengthen our true nature.
[ For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
~Ephesians 6:12 ]
There are powerful forces in the caporal world that pull us away from our true nature and from our Lord, if we allow it to.
Sometimes we can be so unaware that our false self has taken over as we move through life in our feelings, our sin, our humanity.

However, our relationship with God is the only factor that determines if our ‘temporary amnesia’ remains so or becomes our permanent reality - our own reality show where we’re living life based on illusions and and fears; blind to our ability to turn off our false 'reality' and tune into our true lives, living in obedience by God’s ways ~ no matter what this world promises or does to us...
Living by God’s truth doesn’t beget a comfortable life, wealth or any other ‘things’ the world cherishes. God's ability to provide for and satisfy us are on a different level than our human desires and life's 'accouterments'. But our humanity seeks out these things, our false selves crave comfort and those fleshly desires provide it. This doesn't mean we can't have goals, and desires, we just need to keep connected to our Lord in order to reign in when those goals and desires are leading us from real freedom living to life in chains by the world and negative forces.
~ Because narrow is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. ~Matthew 7:14
If we are to put our hope in anything in the world, let it be in God, "who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy," and if we are to chase after anything good, let it be the life "which is truly life" in Christ. ~ 1 Timothy 6:17-19
[ Yep, staying alive through real freedoms provided for us by our Lord Christ! ]
God set up guidelines for us because he knows our human struggles, our sin nature, and the difficulty of living in the world. Gods Word planted in our hearts and minds is our ultimate weapon against our struggles. 🙌🏽
The more of God’s word we learn and put into action in our lives, the better we’ll be at obeying him- his other command for fruitful living. It’s Gods Word that transforms our mind and heart. ~ Yes, it bears repeating especially since we're battling feeling so worn down from this world...
[ We can all G-Walk for God! With our Shield of Faith!! {That's gangsta' walk for those unfamiliar!} ]
It’s God’s Word that gives us courage to go against the grain no matter the worldly consequences. It’s God‘s Word that begins to change our sin desires and equip up us to move through the storms with the strength only aquired through him.
Bit by bit each day if we make a little ( or a lot if possible time ) to plant 🌱 the seeds to nurture our true selves, can we begin to more often recognize our false self when it appears. ✔️✔️
